The building will serve as a depository for the East Bohemian Museum in Pardubice.
There will be areas for receiving finds and inheritance, where these items will pass through quarantine, decontamination, treatment, and will then be stored in individual rooms of the depository by type. The building itself is extremely energy efficient. The same approach is applied to materials - almost 1,000 tons of recycled concrete were used, the walls are made of mud brick. These, together with clay plaster, help maintain the natural indoor climate.
