Residence Modřanka
On the right bank of the Vltava River, on the site of the former sugar refinery in Modřany, the Modřanka Residence grew up in four successive stages.
The clever arrangement of the horseshoe-shaped houses made it possible to create a unique space for a large grassy atrium. The urban concept enabled the origin of the Park Museum of Staré Modřany, reflecting the history of Modřany quarter. The park features some ecology elements, such as the use of local species of greenery or the location of an insect hotel and bird drinking fountain.
