Here is an overview of the expansion of the well-known New Green Savings on March 1, 2020.
1) Residential buildings – new buildings
- Purchasing of a housing unit in a new apartment building fulfilling the parameters of area B.1
- The installation of a charging station in an apartment building is also supported.
This support is only valid in combination with B.1 if the builder of an apartment building applies for the programme.
The subsidy is a maximum of CZK 45,000 per charging point, or CZK 55,000 per charging point if the station is supplied from the PV plant.
2) Apartment buildings - reconstruction (areas A, C)
- The maximum subsidy for area A.0 - A.3 has increased by 33 %. Newly, the support may amount to a maximum of 40 % of the eligible costs (previously only 30 % of the eligible costs could be obtained).
- The maximum subsidy for C.1 - C.5 has increased by 20 %.
- New area of support C.7 - charging stations (conditions and amount of support is the same as for new buildings).
- It is not possible to support the reconstruction of an apartment house outside Prague from New Green Savings (the possibility of support from the IROP program remains).
3) Family houses
- The purchase of a new family house fulfilling the parameters of areas B.1 and B.2 is newly supported.
The applier must be the first owner of a family and must buy it from the first owner (typically a development project).
The maximum subsidy CZK 300,000 (in area B.1) or CZK 450,000 (in area B.2). Subsidy from area B.3 for project preparation (up to CZK 35,000) is not provided in this case.
It is only possible to subsidize a house for which construction permit was granted after July 30, 2019.
- In case of an attempt to obtain a subsidy from area C.1 or C.2, it is now necessary to replace all sources in the building for solid fuels that do not meet the parameters of III. and higher emission classes.
- New area of support for PV (C.3.9.) was introduced.
- The expansion of the existing solar system can also be supported, but the usable gain in the building must be increased by 20% (for a photothermal system) or 10% (for a photovoltaic). The amount of support for the extension of the existing system remains the same as before.
- The maximum subsidy for a central system using heat from wastewater is increased from CZK 15,000 per house to CZK 30,000 per house.
- The deadline for proving the implementation is March 31, 2024. The extension of the deadline for proving the implementation must not exceed this date.
