As always, energy-saving features are integrated to support modern, eco-friendly living. Sales for the new apartments have already begun, with completion planned for the second quarter of 2026.
The third phase of Ranta Barrandov will be located on Schránilova Street and include three buildings—two residential and one commercial. The commercial building, developed for another investor, will serve as a healthcare facility. The residential buildings, with 4 and 8 floors, will feature 56 apartments ranging from studios to two- and three-bedroom units (30–84 m²). The one-bedroom and two-bedroom units will come equipped with a kitchen, including appliances. The project also includes amenities such as a stroller room and a washroom for bicycles and pets. The ground floor will house three commercial units suitable for a restaurant or small services. Ample parking will be available, with select spaces equipped with private wall chargers for electric vehicles, in addition to a public charging station established in earlier phases.
"Our Ranta Barrandov project in the peaceful area of Prague 5 has been very popular due to its comfortable living, energy efficiency, and excellent location. That's why we decided to expand it, offering more apartments in this sought-after neighborhood. It has something for everyone looking for modern living in harmony with nature and urban convenience," said Dana Bartoňová, Sales Director of YIT Stavo, adding, "We may expand the project further in the future."
Designed with Elegance and Respect for the Surroundings
The design of the third phase, by C.A.I.S. Architects, follows the character of the neighborhood and seamlessly complements the buildings from the previous phases. The buildings feature a minimalist, timeless design inspired by Finland, with sloping corners as a distinctive architectural feature. The three trapezoidal structures are unified by a white facade with irregular, crystalline details. A small square with seating areas will connect the buildings.
Environmentally Friendly
YIT emphasizes sustainable solutions in Ranta Barrandov III, such as energy self-sufficiency. Each building will be equipped with photovoltaic panels to contribute to hot water heating, and heat pumps will be the primary heat source. Future residents can expect triple-glazed windows, a Smart Home system, local ventilation units, and underfloor heating. The upper floors will be prepared for air conditioning installation. YIT will also use prefabrication technology for parts of the construction and plans green retention roofs at the level of the gardens and underground garage roofs.

Excellent connectivity to major Prague routes ensures quick travel across the city. The city center is about a 15-minute drive away. The area also has a developed public transport network, with tram stops a few minutes’ walk from the project, connecting to Metro B (Smíchovské nádraží and Anděl). A bus stop connecting to Metro C (Budějovická) is located directly in front of the project.
The location is ideal for active lifestyles, with nearby playgrounds, an outdoor gym, mini-golf, a tennis hall, an aquapark, and Prokop Valley—perfect for sports and walks.
