Leading global commercial real estate services and investment management firm, Colliers International Czech Republic, today announces that Matej Cihelka, Valuation Analyst in Valuation and Advisory Services department at Colliers International Czech Republic passed the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and qualified as a chartered surveyor and member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) effective from 16th June 2020. He has been also promoted to become a Senior Valuation Analyst starting on 1st July 2020.
Having also passed the independent quality assurance process of RICS Valuer Registration, Matej will be able to independently supervise the entire valuation process from A to Z, and thus offering more protection and confidence to Colliers clients. As RICS Registered Valuer, he will be now able to enjoy a wider industry recognition and a competitive advantage in the market as the RICS standards are recognised and adopted in most parts of the world. With his RICS qualification, Matej will focus on driving the continued growth and success of Colliers’ valuation department; improving client experience and deepening relationships with clients.

Matej joined Valuation and Advisory Services department in January 2017 to prepare valuations on behalf of various banks, property funds, investors, developers and property owners across the Czech Republic. Prior to joining the Valuations team, Matej worked at Colliers International since August 2015 as an Office Analyst. He provided full research and marketing support to the Prague Office Agency department with respect to landlord agency and tenant representation.
Matej started his career as an Analyst in the marketing department of EKOSPOL, the Czech leading residential developer. He was responsible for monitoring of Prague residential development market and market reports preparation. Matej has a Master’s degree in Business Administration at University of Economics, Prague.
