The real estate consulting company CBRE will support the quality of the environment in homes for the elderly in cooperation with the Krása pomoci foundation. As part of newly announced funds, which is opened for non-profit organizations from all over the Czech Republic until July 22, there will be 300,000 crowns distributed among 1 to 3 selected projects focused on building modifications or partial reconstructions in homes for the elderly. Experts agree that the building environment not only affects our psyche, but also has significant effects on our overall health. The purpose of the new funds is therefore clear: to improve the living conditions of seniors and increase their quality of life through effective adjustments.
"We have been providing professional advice in the field of commercial real estate for over twenty years. Among other things, we deal with the quality of the space where we work, shop and spend our free time. We together with our clients, have been creating pleasant places for work as well as for life. Currently, we have decided to raise our responsibility to the next level and turn it into targeted support of the non-profit sector. I believe that both purposefully spent money and our know how and personal involvement can transform selected nursing homes for the elderly. Our employees also took part in collecting the total amount of 300,000 crowns whilst the collection was held during the time of the strictest government measures against coronavirus. Our support is aimed at helping seniors as one of the most vulnerable groups in society,” comments Clare Sheils, Managing Director of CBRE.
