Green Buildings in the National Technical Library
In 2015, the Czech Green Building Council launched a 5 year project The Green Buildings in the National Technical Library (NTL). The objective was to build a collection of literature specialised in the field of green building.
The fund is a valuable source of information for students and the entire academic world, and for architects, developers, investors and general public. In the final year 2020, the Green Building book collection contained 151 most recent and relevant foreign publications worth almost CZK 300,000. Books can be studied on site or borrowed free of charge under the terms and conditions of the Library regulations.
Each year, the Council, together with partners, proposed and carefully selected new books and professional publications covering a wide range of current green building topics: from energy efficiency, environmental certification of buildings, water management, digitization in construction to life cycle assessment of the building.
