This time you can look forward to a tour of the green harbour in Strašnice, a residential housing that has just been completed by JRD, where the common swift will live in addition to people.
The energy-passive project Green Port Strašnice, which refers to history not only by its name, has grown up in places where the Czech Maritime Navigation used to be located. This green harbour is literally surrounded by greenery, in addition to a thoughtful parterre there are also 920 m2 of green roofs. During the excursion you will see modern technologies and all the comforts of modern healthy living – be it used ecological materials, a system of controlled ventilation with recuperation, a modern commercial boulevard and efficient use of outdoor common areas. You can also look forward to perks – for example booths for the common swift, which are built into the insulation of individual apartment buildings, or a mural in garages by the artist Juraj Ďuriš.
The event is organized as part of World Green Building Week organized by the World Green Building Council, of which CZGBC is a member.
