Green Building Club: Architecture in Timber Constructions in the USA

  • American centre
    Tržiště 13
    118 01 Praha 1 – Malá Strana

  • Apr 27, 2022 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

We cordially invite you to this year’s first Green Building Club that will focus on the one of the most sustainable materials – timber and its use for building construction in the USA.

Get inspired by the architects Paul Presissner and Paul Andersen of the University of Illinois in Chicago that will introduce the most used system of timber construction in the US. They will talk about the endless flexibility of the technology in relation to sustainability and affordability. Both architects were the curators of the Framing America exhibition in Venice biennial 2021 where they introduced their site-specific construction.

The presentations will be followed by informal reception where you will be able to continue the discussion with our guests of honour and other participants. Light refreshment will be available.

The event is organised by the Czech Green Building Council together with the US Embassy.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity and register now, the capacity is limited.
We look forward to seeing you there
