Smart buildings within Smart City – Retrofit of residential buildings to reduce CO2
No Smart city can function without a long-term green and intelligent buildings.

The Czech Green Building Council with the partnership of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Netherlands  - Czech Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to a Seminar: Smart Buildings within Smart City - Retrofit of residential buildings to reduce CO2.

Nowadays we intensively deal with the topic of Smart City in relation to the mobility in cities, smart parking systems, public transport, payment systems, Internet of Things, shared economy, automatization of public sector and others. The theme of intelligent buildings is still left behind. But Smart Cities are formed by intelligent and green buildings.

09:15 - 10:00 City-zen: A learning-by-doing project in Grenoble and Amsterdam which aims to reduce carbon footprint and improve the quality of life of its inhabitants. The presentation will deal with following questions and topics:

  • A city operating entirely on clean energy.  Sun, wind, biomass or geothermal heat… in theory it’s possible. But what about real-life?
  • How do we integrate new energy solutions in existing buildings, systems and, last but not least, the lives of people?
  • What are the technical, economic or social barriers? And how do we overcome these?

The seminar is accredited by the Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians in Construction (ČKAIT).

The payment will be accepted either in cash on site or by a bank transfer in advance against the invoice issued after your registration. Please note that your registration is binding. Cancellation can be made free of charge 48 hours prior to the event, thereafter you will be charged 100 % of the attendance fee. The capacity is limited, registrations will be treated on the first come first served basis.
