HUB Praha, Drtinova 10, Praha 5, 17:30–20:00
This time the Green Building Club will focus on a hot topic of Czech legislation. Participants will familiarize themselves with the principals of Czech civil law in the field of real estate and property rights, which the New Civil Code will establish as of January 2014. For example, buildings shall not be considered as a real estate under the New Civil Code, but they will form part of a land beneath them. The New Civil Code will establish a "right to build", which will be independent of the physical existence of a building. Such right shall be transferable, inheritable and burdened. Leases shall be recordable in the Cadastral Registry. The New Civil Code will establish several new legal institutes with unique Czech names rozhrada, přestavek etc., which will have an impact on the rights and obligations of the real estate owners.
